Health Coaching

My entire life I have struggled with my weight, trying diet after diet and nothing ever worked. After reaching my highest weight in college I decided that I needed to make a change and that is when I started my journey to become a happier and healthier person. My desire to learn how to develop my own healthy lifestyle inspired me to explore ways to help others learn about healthy food choices, self-care and nutrition.  I have eliminated cravings, I feel lighter and I am more energetic, healthier and happier. I did all this by making small changes to my diet and lifestyle and now I get to work with people to reach their goals and change their lives.

As my friend  and fellow health coach once said “My life isn’t perfect, but no one’s is. Living a healthy lifestyle is a journey, not a destination, and taking personal responsibility for your life doesn’t mean traveling that path alone.”

I have received my training to practice Holistic Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. In addition to be a certified health coach I am also certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).
