I knew that recycling is good but I had no idea that it takes only 5% energy to produce recycled aluminum foil compared with regular aluminum foil. WOW!
they use materials that reduce their impact on the environment. this includes using unbleached paper, recycled materials, and wood and paper coming from sustainably managed forests! what a great company!
The site says “The coffee filters, parchment paper, baking cups, waxed paper and sandwich bags are 100% biodegradable and should be composted.” I am starting a garden this year for the first time and an researching a compost pile, so these products would be amazing to add.

I went to the website and learned that you can use waxed paper to help dry damp pages in books!

I learned about their coffee filters and that they were the first unbleached coffee filters in the U.S.
