  1. This is still quite an accomplishment! I’d say you are doing great. Looking forward to seeing weeks 3+4! Keep up the great work.

  2. I am a big fan of barre3! There’s a reason transformations don’t happen overnight – you’re doing a great job!

  3. GREAT job!! I keep meaning to try Barre3’s online workouts and this is a great reminder to finally get on it. Thanks!

  4. Keep going, go go! I just committed to quitting sugar for a little while and to keep up my running. I might have to enter some trail races this fall to keep my momentum going.

  5. Those are really ambitious goals! I’m trying to get more reading and walking in myself…keep at it!

  6. I admire your honesty in admitting you didn’t execute your plan as you hoped and are proactively trying to change that while also noting what you were successful at doing, even if only part way. Change is hard and pretending plans go thru perfectly St the start is ignoring reality, so I find this kind of post more encouraging than just a list of successes!

  7. You’re doing great! Changing food habits, especially when being social and all that, is really hard. And it is all about balance, since it is unrealistic to cut out everything bad at all times. Keep up the good work and don’t beat yourself up when you have a “cheat.” Also, I love the 15 minutes of reading each day!

  8. Oh goodness, the water. I’m having flashbacks to my last fitness attempt. Kudos to you for sticking with it as much as you did. Progress is progress.

  9. No one’s perfect! I have so much trouble sticking to dietary changes and goals, too, especially for long periods of time.

  10. I was literally writing the exact same starter sentence as pechluck. It really is brave to be so honest but that honesty is also what will get you to your destination. how cool is that?

BTW< I know it is not the same, but you could maybe listen to audio books while you walk…kill 2 birds with one stone…plus I find it keeps me walking longer

  11. “Sometimes we just need a do-over” – YES. Good for you for being gentle with yourself and trying again!

  12. BTW the only reading I do these days that isn’t on my phone or a children’s book is while standing up brushing my teeth. I very slowly make my way through magazines that way!
