Hi Lindsay,
I’ve been doing some reading on Kayla Itsines and she definitely has a lot of mixed reviews about her BBG. I’m thinking about buying it but after reading this http://www.bikinibodyguidereview.com/kayla-itsines-workouts I have my doubts..
In your honest opinion do you think it’s worth it? It is a little expensive 🙁
I’m 37 and now my 2 boys aren’t babies any more I want to get in to shape.
What is your fitness level like right now? I actually didn’t end up completing the program because of a running knee injury. I felt like the BBG 2.0 was a good challenge and I definitely got in a good workout but I’ve decided not to return to it until I feel like I am in a bit better shape. I would not recommend the meal plan personally as it’s a bit too restrictive IMO.

thanks for the reply Lindsay 😀
Sorry to hear about your knee, I’ve actually got a bad knee as well and feel your pain. Definitely rest up while you can or just do light stuff until your knee gets better.
I done mine at work a few years back but I went back to work while it was still recovering and because I went back to early it never really healed properly…
My fitness level is beginner level, I just started doing some workouts(I decided to buy the bikini body workouts that web address recommended it’s pretty good so far and only cost $29.99 which is a bit more affordable than Kayla Itsines guide.)
Ohhh I did read that Kayla’s diet was a bit extreme. I don’t think I would handle it I love my food to much 😀 I am eating healthier now though..
Thanks again and hope you have a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Priscilla 🙂
I believe she has a sample workout as well that you may want to give a try before deciding

How did the workout go? I tried your IG page but it doesn’t seem to load. I;m really interested in the BBG but not really sure since it cost so much. This review said it cost over $200! Is that true? http://www.ehowtoshootabasketball.com/bikini-body-guide-review/
Do you have any advice for someone who is looking to get into a cheap workout plan?
Thanks. Do you have a link to a working instagram page?
Mine I think cost around $70 and I just bought the workout plan not the meal plan so I’m not sure if that is why the article you shared says $200 (could be for both).
Are you looking for a high intensity style workout? There are a number of plans floating around on the internet. I honestly haven’t tried a ton of plans besides running plans and BBG which I didn’t complete but I am actually starting back up this week (I’ll share my experience here on the blog and also on my IG: runwithtongs – my old BBG IG is no longer active).
I also love the barre3 online classes and they have a 28 day program that you can follow that is really great and has a meal plan.
Let me know if you find a program that you really like and if I come across some plans I’ll share them back here!
Hi, I was wondering how the BBG and a running plan was going I was training for a 5k but just completed that (my 5k was 6/25) but I want to keep up with the 5k maybe even going to a 10k but I also started the BBG yesterday and struggling to find a way to fit everything in!
