For healthy, fresh food try Julie Hasson’s cart, Native Bowl, and for greasier comfort food try Home-Grown Smoker. Both are at Mississippi Marketplace.
I love Portland! I was there over the summer, and I ate at an Ethiopian food cart (Alder b/t 9th and 11th I think) that was amazing. Also, if you don’t already, check out this vegan/Portland/food blog, http://getsconedpdx.com/. Basically, I’m jealous of your new city.
Portland is AWESOME for eating. And I heart Powells. 😀
We ate at The Whole Bowl and loved it. There was also a little burrito cart we visited but I can’t remember the name of it. I’ll have to ask my husband when he’s off the phone… I want to visit Portland soon. I love living in Seattle but Portland has way better vegan food optioins!
They call them honkin huge burritos. No joke! They were HUGE! I don’t remember what size we ordered but each of us could only finish half our burrito. Yum!!
