    I start my workout the same way every day: sprouted grain toast topped with homemade honey peanut butter (or almond butter) and half a banana, alongside a glass of almond milk. It fuels me well–I’m never tired or nauseas during my workouts.

    I fuel my workout pretty much the same way each time: A slice of Ezekiel cinnamon raisin bread with nut butter- usually peanut!

    Before a workout, I eat a piece of bread with peanut or almond butter!

    I tend to eat half a clif bar and water before, and the rest of the clif bar with a banana and water afterwards.

  20. Lately I’ve been eating walnuts and raisins before I work out. It contains enough energy to keep me fueled (I have a tendency to get very lightheaded when I work-out so I need lots of calories pre-workout!) but doesn’t make me feel sick.

    I like to have a Lara bar with raw almond butter, it gives me so much energy!

  25. I’m still figuring out the right fuel for racing, but for Ironman I used Powerbar gels and Infinit as my main fuel. I’m thinking of tweaking that this year, but we’ll see. I would love to try that Halo bar! 🙂
