Having painted nails all the time helps keep them from breaking and splitting. It also makes any outfit look better. And it makes you happy when you look at them!
Moisturize in the morning and evening. Massage oil into nail bed and cuticle area. Stay hydrated on more than hot chocolate and toddy’s.

My favorite winter beauty tip is to keep my skin from drying out with the 3-minute rule. After showering and lightly toweling off, I apply my body lotion and face moisturizer within 3 minutes of turning off the water. Lotions don’t infuse moisture into the skin, they merely trap it!

Moisturize. If I keep my hands moisturized, my nails tend to stay stronger throughout the winter.

Moisturize! It’s so boring, but nobody likes the tight, painful feeling of dry skin on your face!

I have lip balm with me at all times – amazing what a difference soft lips makes!
I carry a tiny bottle of lotion and a tube of lip balm everywhere because being outside for > 5 seconds makes my skin dry.

Keep drinking water, even when it was cold out. Switch to tea if you have to, but that with moisturizing will help keep the dry skin away.
