Having painted nails all the time helps keep them from breaking and splitting. It also makes any outfit look better. And it makes you happy when you look at them!

My favorite winter beauty tip is to keep my skin from drying out with the 3-minute rule. After showering and lightly toweling off, I apply my body lotion and face moisturizer within 3 minutes of turning off the water. Lotions don’t infuse moisture into the skin, they merely trap it!

  21. Melissa

Moisturize. If I keep my hands moisturized, my nails tend to stay stronger throughout the winter.

  22. Keep drinking water, even when it was cold out. Switch to tea if you have to, but that with moisturizing will help keep the dry skin away.
