November 1st marks the official (acceptable) start to the Holiday’s in our house and I have been soaking up the holiday music already. I have been listening to the new She & Him holiday album on repeat lately but this morning I decided to put on my favorite album: Christmas with the Rat Pack. I think I was born in the wrong decade. I really wish we could bring the 50’s and 60’s back, at least the style, the cars, the music and the film. Something so much classier and intriguing about that time period than today.
Do you ever feel like you were born in the wrong decade?

Like this post! I often feel like I was born in the wrong decade, but I’m not a 50s girl, I would definitely be more of a Austen-era England (1700s/1800s). However, I don’t know how well I would do in a decade where a woman’s main purpose was to keep house and look pretty…

I saw on Twitter that you were looking for good vegan, whole food restaurants in NYC. I HIGHLY recommend Angelica’s Kitchen. I went there this time last year and am more than kinda still dreaming about their chili and cornbread. And they had a bunch of awesome sounding sandwiches on the menu. Below is a link to the review I wrote of the restaurant, if you want to actually see some of the food. But if you do go remember to bring cash, as they are a cash-only establishment.
Have fun in NY!
