  1. I learned that the caffeine in tea is released into the body at about half the rate of coffee. Less jolt to the nervous system. Could be good, could be bad!

  2. Is it valid to say that I learned that it’s possible to have loose tea in a glass and not let it get into your mouth? These mugs are fantastic! I’m approaching a time when I have to forsake my tea ball because it keeps opening and I keep sipping tea leaves, which most of us know is not as delicious as it should be, so there wouldn’t be a better time for me to win this 😀 Thanks for offering it!

  3. I already follow you on twitter and “like” you on Facebook 🙂 And on a side-note… in addition to the witty “liberty”-sounding brand name, Libre means “free” in French/Spanish. (That’s something I learned not from the site but while I on the site ;).)

I learned that loose leaf tea is more eco friendly than tea bags. Seems obvious but I have never thought of that before!

  5. Interesting… I learned about the difference between the caffeine in tea and the caffeine in coffee. I don’t drink coffee, which shocks people in my industry, and they always then ask “but you drink caffeinated tea, right?” as if it is the same thing.

  6. I learned that “Bagged tea is often made from loose leaf tea production’s tea dust or ‘fannings,’ resulting in a brew that is much less flavourful.”

I learned that you have to let it cool a little before you twist on the lid, otherwise steam pressure could cause leaks.
